Forever Plaid is an affectionate homage to the close-harmony male singers of the 1950s. Audiences will delight in the all-new staging of this deliciously goofy musical review. The “Plaids” are four young, eager male singers who never made it to their first big gig due to a fatal car crash. Returning from the afterlife, they are given a chance to fulfill their dreams and finally perform the show that never was. You’ll delight in their beautiful harmony and boyish squabbling over their charmingly outlandish choreography — performed with over-zealous precision. Alex Camp


Alex is happy to be back at G.C.T. in his favorite show. Aside from doing Plaid in various locales over the past 13 years, Alex could also be seen previously on the G.C.T. stage in The Secret Garden, Music Man, and Damn Yankees. Other credits include Children of Eden, Jesus Christ Superstar, and The Who’s Tommy.  Many thanks to his Plaid brothers and to G.C.T. for bringing us ‘back to life’ one more time.

Kurt Cereske


Kurt currently resides in Lubbock, TX and is a doctoral candidate in the PhD. program in Fine Arts, Music Education, at Texas Tech University. He is thrilled to be back here in Southern California reprising his role as Sparky one final time at the Glendale Centre Theatre. It’s been an amazing 13 years, guys! I treasure each and every performance we share together.  Much love to you! Special thanks to Tim and Brenda Dietlein. I am ever grateful for the many opportunities you have given me over the years.  I’m “crazy ‘bout you!”

Danny Michaels


Daniel is really happy to be back home with his Plaid Brothers and singing the songs we love to sing.  Previous performances on the GCT stage include Will Rogers in The Will Rogers Follies, Bela Zangler in Crazy For You, Joel in Beau Jest, Charles Thomson in 1776, Ali Hakim in Oklahoma, the Devil, Mr. Applegate, in Damn Yankees, Bill Snibson in Me And My Girl, Archibald Craven in The Secret Garden, and Lumiere in Disney’s Beauty And The Beast. Danny is the recipient of an LA Ovation Award, 6 StageScene LA Awards, 5 Inland Theatre Awards and a Drama-Logue Award. Thank you Tim and Brenda and the Glendale audiences for having us back again, and thank you Daniel, Kurt, Alex, Steven, and Lanne for being the incredible friends you are and for bringing this show to life each and every time. Daniel Thomas


Daniel is pleased to be returning to Forever Plaid and such great friends, as well as returning to GCT, where he appeared in No, No Nanette, Me & My Girl, The Pajama Game and The Music Man, as well as music directing several other shows. Daniel has performed and/or music directed at most of the theaters in the region and is currently the Director of Business and Finance for the Norris Center for the Performing Arts. He remains active as an arranger, singer, conductor and pianist. Many thanks to his Plaid brothers and the GCT family!

Orlando Alexander


Orlando is extremely  happy  to  be  once  again  working  with the  Forever  Plaid  family,  now  for  the  4th  time! No  stranger  to  the  GCT  stage,  Orlando  directed and  choreographed  our  productions  of  The  Will Rogers Follies, Big River, and Little Shop Of Horrors (all  of  which  received  StageScene  LA Awards  for  Direction  and  Choreography). Other credits include Crazy for You, Fiddler On The Roof, Damn Yankees, Guys And Dolls, The Secret Garden, Me And My Girl, Oklahoma, and Pajama Game. Orlando  is  pleased  to announce  that  he  will  also  be  choreographing GCT’s  upcoming  production  of  Hairspray!    In addition,  some  of  “Lanne’s”  regional  theatre credits  include  West  Side  Story  (Inland  Theatre Award), The Man Of La Mancha, Pirates Of Penzance, All Shook Up, and Dreamgirls.
