The Rainmaker

The Curries have a daughter, Lizzie, a plain, simple girl. They live in the drought-striken mid-west during the 1930's. Lizzie's problem has been a lack of suitors; even though her dad and brothers try to help change that. It's been to no avail until Starbuck, the "Rainmaker" comes to stay at their ranch. His promise of rain to the parched land is matched with the promise of hope and love. The movie version starring Burt Lancaster and Katharine Hepburn lit up the screen. We guarantee our production will likewise ignite laughter and romance.
